AA Sales is your destination for hard-to-find computer electronics parts and accessories, offering a diverse range of products and services. Our product lineup typically features computer components, with our specialty being in vintage PC Hardware (PC Compatible), along with other electronic components required for their repair. We also build custom vintage computer systems to order, with a focus on overall build quality and low noise levels, while maintaining reasonable performance.

Regarding vintage peripherals, you can find expanded information and reviews on moishe.ca (in English)—our partner in the vintage computer parts business. We are also long-standing distributors of exclusive specialized series of aluminum electrolytic capacitors from high-quality, mostly Japanese manufacturers—brands that most ordinary shops do not offer. Our capacitor inventory is constantly growing; currently, we offer over 100 types with stock exceeding 100,000 units.

Gradually, we are expanding our selection of testing instruments (for vintage ICs) and other specific (and hard-to-find) components suitable for vintage PCs and related electronics repair (connectors, switches, etc.). This current selection includes dozens of different types of products with hundreds of items in stock. Furthermore, we offer computer service (focused primarily on hardware).

Payment, Delivery, and Other Conditions

Currently, we prefer payments to our bank account (in any form) or via cryptocurrencies against an (advance) invoice; however, cash payment is also possible.

Please send orders primarily via e-mail (see contacts below), identifying the goods and the preferred method of delivery (or collection).

By purchasing goods, a purchase contract is concluded between the seller (Best Software Design) and the buyer. All conditions are governed by the Ontario Consumer Protection Act and the Sale of Goods Act (under the Revised Statutes of Ontario). Therefore, where conditions are not contractually specified other than in plain words, there is no point in wasting time blindly copying dozens of paragraphs from aforementioned legal statutes; you may study the wording of the statutes directly by yourself (links provided). Specifically, the buyer is directed to Section 43 of the Act, which specifically describes conditions for withdrawal from a contract, return of goods, warranties/claims, and delivery/payment terms.

Aside from the conditions described in the Act, Best Software Design offers a 10-day return window for the product, if you are not satisfied, or for any other reason, as long as the item is returned in the same condition as it was received.   This 10-day grace period commences upon receipt of the goods  During this period, the customer may return the goods for a full refund. The 10-day grace period is not intended for free use of the product at the seller's expense. In the event of returning used goods or goods with damaged/missing packaging or accessories, the seller is entitled to reduce the returned amount proportionately to the decrease in value resulting from the buyer's actions. The buyer bears the costs of returning the goods to the seller unless both parties agree otherwise.

Unless stated otherwise for the specific item, the minimum mandatory warranty period (2 years) applies automatically to new goods. For used goods, the warranty depends on the condition, typically 12–36 months. Claims can be made at the place of purchase (see below), in person by prior agreement on time, or without restriction if sent via shipping service (though it is advisable to inform us; claims are very rare given our focus on quality, so we might not be expecting shipments). Unless supplied separately, the invoice serves as the delivery note and warranty certificate.

The status of listed stock is not guaranteed, and in occasional cases, it may happen that goods listed as in stock are no longer available. In such a case, you will be notified with a proposal for resolving the situation. In the event of a clearly incorrectly stated price (e.g., an error in order of magnitude where the buyer could not reasonably infer a significant discount or sale), the seller reserves the right to withdraw from the purchase contract without compensation.

As stated above, AA Sales accepts cashless payments in advance to our account. We also accept payments via PayPal or cryptocurrencies. The seller reserves the right to charge the buyer transaction fees associated with PayPal payments in the amount set by the current fee schedule, typically 3–3.5% of the price of the goods. In the case of cryptocurrencies, the seller will determine the exchange rate of the given cryptocurrency against the Canadian Dollar on the given day based on market situations.

Small items are sent by post in an envelope; prices here range according to weight and value from $1 to $5 and upwards (ordinary/registered, incl. HST). Larger/more expensive items are sent via a service based on individual agreement (given the unreliability and uncertain pricing of carriers, it is often better to transport larger and heavier equipment personally). Cash on delivery (COD) is not accepted.

In some cases, we can directly deliver even smaller goods within the GTA and its immediate surroundings; in such cases, delivery costs will be communicated individually.
